Angie Harmon was an American model and actress who was featured in numerous films and TV shows. In the beginning, she was an established model, and later when she gained international recognition, she ventured into acting. She began her acting career in the television series "Baywatch Nights" which premiered in 1995. She also has done voice-overs and provided her voice to an animated version of the film "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker'. Harmon was able to focus on film at the beginning of 2000 and stopped working with TV series. In the early 2000s she returned to TV shows after appearing in a number of films. She was among of the few actors who posed discreetly naked in the magazine 'Allure.' Her most well-known role is her role as the detective Jane Rizzoli in the TNT show 'Rizzoli & Isles.' The role of detective she played was extremely praised and she won several awards. Angie Harmon's work has received numerous nominations throughout the years. Additionally, she was awarded a few awards.
