Antonina showed off her slashing skills by knocking out Nievera by knees. In the aftermath of this fight, Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hitters Finale, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi in the unanimous verdict. She then lost her subsequent fight because of the split decision. Antonina recovered from the loss to defeat Lucie Pudilova with a back-naked choke submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned an extra fight in the evening for this bout. Shevchenko was victorious in her initial three bouts, but lost them to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina has been defeated recently by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
